Clubbed Foot History

The 1st Clubbed Foot took place in 1991 after Gress, Kochy and Stewy Adam had been on a similar CBA contrived golf weekend that had been organized by a colleague David Hillhouse. These weekends were pretty wild but definitely a good blend of golf and partying.

CLUBBED FOOT 34 - GEELONG

Hi to all,

Welcome to the official Clubbed Foot website which thanks to Party Marty has an abundance of information relating to the vague memories of past Clubbed Foots. All footers are encouraged to contribute with personal tour stories, photos and suggestions.

Clubbed Foot 34 has been finalised and airfares are being booked as we speak. Many of the contingent are leaving on Friday 16th March on JQ615 - 1.20pm. Returning on Monday 19th March on JQ 626 departing at 8.45pm.

No golf is panned for the Friday on arrival. Those leaving at 1.20pm will share a taxi to Comfort Inn Eastern Sands, 1 Bellerine Street Geelong. It's about 25 minutes so should not cost too much. We have booked 12 rooms x 2 per room. No meals are provided. The accommodation will have a list of who will be sharing in each room. Here's a blurb on their website:

Dine in the restaurant or order a delicious meal from room service.

 

TOURNAMENT:

The tournament will be held over 3 days beginning on Saturday ending Monday. In keeping with Clubbed Foot tradition, Saturday scores will be halved, Sundays will be 3/4 quartered and Monday will be full stableford. The highest aggregated score will be deemed THE WINNER. Team competitions will be run in conjunction.

SATURDAY 17th March: 13TH BEACH GOLF CLUB. CREEK COURSE (rated 26 best public course in Australia).  1st tee time is 9.16 am. Carts not booked

SUNDAY 18th March:  13th BEACH GOLF CLUB. BEACH COURSE (rated 6th best public course in Australia). 1st tee time is 10.20am. Carts not booked)

MONDAY 19th March: SANCTUARY LAKES GOLF CLUB. (greg norman design).

1st tee time: 9.50 am. No carts booked.

TRANSPORT:

We are exploring the cheapest options to transport golfers from Geelong to the golf courses and back. Stu Adam is looking into this.
